Brick Replacement
Brick replacement becomes necessary when cracks begin to appear on exterior walls of your house or building. Bricks tend to crack due to movement, climatic conditions, and physical damages or because of plant roots. An open cracked brick allows moisture to seep into the wall, which further leads to the formation of mould and fungal growth. Moisture can also damage the overall strength of the wall.
Repointing
Repointing is the process of renewing mortar joints in masonry construction. Over time, weathering and decay causes gaps in the joints between bricks. Water entering through these voids can cause significant damage through weather cycles and from salt dissolution and deposition.
